With much awaited release of SRK starrer Don 2, we had totally forgotten about Agneepath, remake of 1990 Hindi film of the same name. Agneepath (2012) is a Hrithik roshan starrer, he is playing the role originally played by Amitabh Bachchan in the old one.

The Music is composed by National Award winning duo Ajay-Atul and will be released on the 19th December. Sony Music has bagged the rights. Songs encompass a wide array of themes ranging from romance and dance to quawalli and devotional songs, making each of it blend strongly with the theme of the scene/ character. The extensive use of live instruments for recording these tracks gives this soundtrack tremendous scale and impact, said Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director of Sony Music India.
The highlight of the movie alongside Sanjay Dutt's new look would be Katrina's Item number. She is said to have charged a bomb for featuring in this song. She is all set to re-ignite the screen as Chikni this time.
